To guide students to a greater command of the English language by nurturing effective habits in the areas of comprehension, vocabulary, writing and critical thinking. I strive to help the students to become better readers, writers, speakers and, above all, appreciators of the incredible and complex language we use to communicate every single day.
I graduated in May 2015 from Eastern University with a Bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Communications. Shortly after graduating, I landed what had always been my dream job: a sportswriting gig covering Minor League Baseball for MLB.com. Well, dreams change, and after three years I discovered that my true passion was for the classroom. I possess a well-honed understanding of ELA principles and multiple years of education experience, as well as a deeply founded Catholic faith built up through 12 years of Catholic education and four more years at a Christian university.
